Are you working in the Queensland building and construction industry but don’t hold a formal qualification?

Construction Skills Funded Training programs provides training and assessment services to enable existing workers and new entrants to have their skills and experience recognised, and to access gap training required to obtain a nationally recognised building and construction qualification.

Under the CSQ funding program, CSQ has contracted MIBT – Masters in Building Training, to identify the skills you already have, and provide the gap training you need to attain a nationally recognised qualification.

You’ll need to get in quickly as places may be limited. Our funding period commences annually in October.

Participant Eligibility

  1. Eligible Participant means:

(a)  An Eligible Worker; and

(b)  an Existing Worker; and

(c)  if an Apprentice, in the 3rd or 4th year of the apprenticeship (HLS Only) ; or

(d)  an Unemployed Eligible Worker.

  1. AND MUST BE:

(a)  an Australian or New Zealand citizen; or

(b)  a permanent resident of Australia; or

(c)  a refugee and humanitarian visa holder.

  1. AND MUST:

(a)  permanently reside in Queensland; or

(b)  be permanently employed in Queensland.
